He won a Tony Award for his 1995 Broadway debut as Hamlet and was nominated again for his 2006 role in Faith Healer. Fiennes gained international recognition for his portrayal of Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter series (2005–2011) and M in the James Bond films (2012–2021).
